Williams test driver Susie Wolff will drive the team’s 2015 car, the FW37, at Barcelona on Thursday, the opening day of F1’s second pre-season test.
The 32-year-old has been handed an expanded role at Williams for this year after impressing in the role of development driver and the two Friday practice sessions she competed in last summer. In addition to her expected run-out at Barcelona, Wolff will also take part in two more P1 sessions during the season.
Confirming their driver running order for the first of the back-to-back tests at the Circuit de Catalunya, Williams revealed that Wolff would be in the FW37 on Day One, the second time she will have driven the car after a team filming day at Jerez.

Race drivers Valtteri Bottas and Felipe Massa will then take over the car respectively over the following two days. The pair will then share driving duties on Sunday’s final day.
Williams will be one of nine teams in action in Spain, with Force India making their first appearance of 2015, albeit with their old VJM07, after sitting out the Jerez test.
World champion Lewis Hamilton is kicking off this week’s test for Mercedes, while Daniel Ricciardo and Jenson Button are in action on Day One for Red Bull and McLaren respectively.
